Our aim is to be knowledgeable, flexible and passionate while supporting the growth of great product ideas within functional foods. At the moment, we are in an exciting expansion phase and need to staff up our R&D team.
This full-time role position is a combined product developer and quality controller role. What does this mean?
As a product developer:
- Developing new and innovative products for sports nutrition and healthy lifestyle areas
- Creating recipes and product specifications
- Calculating nutritional values
- Be in contact with the suppliers
As a quality controller:
- Take care of the ingredient and sample analyses
- Maintain and develop quality systems
- Strive to bring our practices in line with quality system requirements
- Work closely with our knowledgeable organization
The work is extremely diverse and requires knowledge of the product development process, raw materials and legislation, as well as appropriate food education. We’re looking for someone with a wealth of ideas and knowledge of commercial thinking.
You should also have an independent work approach, systematic working methods, precision, IT systems skills and excellent documentation. In addition to Finnish, you’ll need to have a sufficient command of English in order to communicate with your colleagues and suppliers. You’ll work closely together with the R&D team, but also with other functions such as sales and marketing.
Your role will primarily be determined by your current experience and skills, but we will provide additional challenges as your career progresses. For the right person there will be extensive future possibilities to grow as we do. Salary and compensation will be based on your previous experiences and future potential – we like good people who are both agile and precise, proactive and quick to action.
Please send your application (with both CV and cover letter) to Head of R&D, Eeva Ahervo: email@example.com
